I am an assistant professor and consultant physiotherapist in the Medical Rehabilitation Department – Physiotherapy Program at Najran University, in Najran, Saudi Arabia.
Prior to starting that position in 2018, I spent a season with the Saudi football club Ohod as a sport physiotherapist from 2005 to 2006. I served as a physiotherapist in the Ministry of Health from 2005 to 2018 at Medical Rehabilitation Hospital (200 beds), in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
At the hospital, I was nominated to be the head of rehabilitation department, and I worked for this position for about five years until I got a scholarship for a postgraduate education in 2011.
In 2013, I earned a master's degree in exercise and sports physiotherapy at Cardiff University, in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
In 2016, I completed a doctorate in health, sports and rehabilitation sciences at Salford University, in Manchester, United Kingdom.
From 2016 to 2018, I served as a senior physiotherapist and head of training and academic affairs department at Medical Rehabilitation Hospital (200 beds), in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
From 2018 to till date, I moved to Ministry of Education as an assistant professor and consultant physiotherapist at Najran University, in Najran, Saudi Arabia.
I have international awards include a present of excellence from the Saudi Ambassador in London, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf, in 2015; three certificates of excellence from the Saudi Cultural Bureau in London for achieving honorary board three times from 2015 to 2016; eight certificates of excellence from the Saudi Cultural Bureau in London from 2014 to 2016; and a prize for the best poster presentation at two international conferences in 2015 and 2016.
