Rakan holds a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine, complemented by advanced training in Osteopathy medicine through the first accredited post-master’s diploma program in the Middle East and North Africa, offered by King Fahad Medical City and recognized by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. He has also deepened his expertise through certifications in neuroscience, sports psychology, and human movement science from leading global institutions such as the University of Barcelona and the Barça Innovation Hub.Beyond clinical practice, Rakan has been actively involved in sports diplomacy, leadership development, and international collaboration. He is an alumnus of the Global Sports Mentoring Program (GSMP), where he focused on disability rights and inclusion, and has represented Saudi Arabia in multiple international initiatives. He is also a graduate of the Aspire Leadership Program (funded by Harvard University) and a participant in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC) programs, further strengthening his leadership and innovation skills.Rakan’s contributions extend to research and community service. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, including a study in the Q3-ranked Science and Sports Journal, and has volunteered more than 1,000 hours across major government entities such as the Ministry of Sports, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, and the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee
